ACER QUERCUS RELEASE PARTIES!

How's this for last minute notification....

Tomorrow, Monday June 27 at the Three Penny Taproom, Acer Quercus will make its Vermont debut on draught!!! We are very excited to say the least. Bottles of this beer will be hitting the Hunger Mtn. Coop in Montpelier first thing in the morning, and they will be at the Warren Store too. TPT will start serving up the AQ sometime after they open (not sure exactly, call ahead, 5pm at the latest). I'll be dropping by later in the evening to say hi and have a glass myself!

If you can't make it tomorrow, fear not. On July 13, we will be holding another release party with a couple of kegs going the Farmhouse Taproom and Grill in Burlington as part of their Vermont brewers celebration in advance of the Vermont Brewers Festival on July 15 and 16. That same day, ample quantity of bottles will arrive at the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski. Cheers! - Sean

Acer Quercus has arrived!

Greetings all!
As often is the case, I must apologize for the long delay in posts. Its been a very busy spring and hard to believe it, but yes, summer festival season is upon us. We have already taken part in two excellent events, that you should check out next year!

The Brattleboro Brewers Festival on May, 21 in southern Vermont was fantastic. With a relatively small crowd (compared to the number of vendors) the atmosphere was relaxed and there were virtually no lines! We also we thrilled to be chosen for "The People's Choice Award"! Our booth was the most visited at the festival - check out our bling!

The American Craft Beer Fest in Boston, MA on June 3-4, offered up a dizzying array of world-class brews from well over 100 breweries from around the country. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Although the festival is very large (5,000 people/session) the exhibit hall is plenty large to spread us all out, and the lines for beer move quickly. It was great to meet so many new people and brewers and introduce them to their first taste of Lawson's Finest.

ACER QUERCUS - THE BRUERY/LAWSON'S FINEST COLLABORATION

Yes indeed, this liquid elixir of Vermont and California goodies has landed in Vermont! We served up the first couple of kegs at the ACBF (see above) in Boston with much fanfare and some great feedback. We are going to be labeling the bottles for this beer in the next two weeks and have a number of cases to distribute out to Vermont. Starting at the end of June, you can look for this beer at the Warren Store, the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, and Hunger Mtn. Co-op in Montpelier. As an added bonus, for every bottles sold at Hunger Mtn., Lawson's Finest and Hunger Mtn will each donate a dollar to the the Three Penny Taproom's lost cellar beer fund. (In case you don't know, they lost their entire bottled collection two weeks ago due to the flooding in Montpelier).

We are planning release parties for both the Three Penny and the Farmhouse Tap and Grill, and bottles will be delivered to market on the same day we tap some draft beer at each of these locaitons. Keep tuned to the blog and when we have some dates nailed down, I'll post them here, along with some more detailed information about the beer itself, the fun we had creating it, and the awesome folks out at The Bruery in Placentia, CA.

Cheers!
